From the dentist who built it
I've hated pretty much every PMS I've used, but I never really had a choice.
Then I started noticing how much time notes were actually taking, and it was pretty eye opening.
We spent real money upgrading our scanners, our chairs, our CBCTs. Then came home and typed notes like it was 2009. Dentistry is one of the most demanding professions in medicine. The documentation had never been given the same attention.
A few years ago I was audited. I was using a template. I genuinely thought my notes were detailed and thorough. The auditor told me they weren't. It was a wake-up call.
I designed the note templates, the compliance scoring, and the AHPRA flags in InstantNote from that experience. Every field exists because I know what gets scrutinised.
Clinical records are a legal requirement. They do not have to feel like one. I built InstantNote to make documentation fast, defensible, and something you might not dread. That is the standard we are building toward.
